Cathy Salzillo 


Cathy has over thirty years of experience in dance performance, instruction, and choreography. She started dancing at age two at her mother’s dance studio.

She performed jazz, tap, and lyrical routines that led to winning awards and titles at area dance competitions.

     Cathy received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2002 and studied in New York City at The Broadway Dance Center of NYC, and Steps on Broadway Dance Studio. Since dance is an ever-changing art form, Cathy continues to attend dance conventions and attends “Teacher Only” workshops

Donna SanGiovanni 

Business Manager

Donna brings DC DANCE over fifty years of experience in the dance field. She has directed dance recitals and shows since 1984. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts and  responsible for day to day operations. In addition to the studio, she works at North Branford Intermediate School.

Joyce E. Hall

Associate Director 

& Adult Program Director

Joyce has danced for over fifty years and performed at various venues, including cruise lines. She teaches all ages from “Grown Up And Me” through Advanced Adult Classes. Joyce received her training through Donna SanGiovanni, Sharon DiCrosta, Farnworth and Hauer Ballet Studio in NYC , and Charles Kelley in NYC  

Rachel Wilson


Rachel joined the faculty officially three years ago to support the expansion of our dance and acrobatic programs. She received her training from Donna SanGiovanni, Sharon Robles, and Alanna Monge. Rachel has taken “Teacher Only” workshops. In addition to teaching, Rachel is a dance mom to her children, Evan and Samantha.

Sheri Bonanno 


Sheri has been teaching dance in CT and the surrounding New England area for the past 29 years. Her early training came from Sharon DiCrosta at the Dancer’s Studio. She then received her BA in Dance from DeSales University. Sheri performed with the Muhlenberg Summer Theatre and The Anita Feldman Dance Company. She is certified by Dance Masters of America and is a member of DMA Chapter 18.  Sheri’s students and choreography have won numerous awards on the State, National and International stages. Her teaching experience includes teaching children ages 2 through adult in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and acro with an emphasis in tap. She also continues to work as an assistant coach/choreographer for the American Dance Collaborative which is a group of dancers who represent the United States at the World Tap Dance Championships.

Maria Berte

Musical Theater Instructor

Maria is an instrumental music teacher for the past 19 years in East Haven and currently in North Branford. Music is not her only love. Her passion for theater and musical theater have been important throughout her life as well. Maria has directed multiple musical theater productions for East Haven Academy and for Cheshire Community Theatre. Maria has also been seen on stage across CT working with both adults and children. Currently Maria is a company member of Pantochino Productions based in Milford. Maria is excited to have the opportunity to come back to where the dance studio she started dancing at as a child!
